Seattle Summer Art Events 2016
Summer is right around the corner, and in Western Washington that means more outdoor festivities than the rest of the year! Here are just a few of the many art events happening in the Greater Seattle Area in the upcoming summer months:
Now in its 40th year, the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) is recognized as one of the top film festivals in North America. A schedule of films can be found here with theaters all across Seattle and the Eastside.
Head to Front Street in Issaquah from 6-9pm on July 8th or August 5th to see over 50 artist’s work featured along the street. Along with the wide variety of art showcased at the Art Walks, there is also live music and some great food! We’ll be there with ArtEAST with supplies for kid’s crafts! See you there!
Produced by Redmond Town Center and one of our clients, VALA Eastside, the Redmond Arts Festival runs in conjunction with Redmond’s Annual Derby Days! The Arts Festival will feature about 70 talented artists and there will be 9 live bands and plenty of food trucks and restaurants to choose from! Taking place at Redmond Town Center, it’s an easy commute to get to their Derby Days to enjoy even more activities.
Now in its 70th year, the Bellevue Arts Museum (BAM) ARTSfair will have “over 300 inspiring artists” to shop from with a variety ranging from “modern, traditional, and emerging work”. Located at the Bellevue Arts Museum and Bellevue Square, this 3-day event will also include BAM exhibitions, a KIDSfair, food trucks, and lots more!
With the focus of “showcasing the vibrant culture and diversity of the Pacific Northwest” the Seattle Art Fair aims to shine “a light on Seattle’s thriving art scene”. Now in its second year, the fair “features local, regional, and international art galleries presenting top-tier modern and contemporary art”. Located at CenturyLink Field, the information on how to purchase tickets can be found here.
