Seattle Summer Art Events 2017
Summer is upon us and after one of the most rainy starts to the year in Seattle history, let’s hope we have a sunny Seattle summer in store! Here are just a few of the many art events happening in the Seattle area in the upcoming summer months:
Downtown Issaquah Art Walks – July 7, August 4 & September 8
Head to Front Street in Issaquah from 6-9pm on July 7th, August 4th, and September 8th to see artist’s work featured along the street. Along with the wide variety of art showcased at the Art Walks, there will also be interactive art demonstrations, live music, and dance throughout historic downtown Issaquah!
Redmond Arts Festival – July 7-9
Co-produced by Redmond Town Center and VALA Eastside, the Redmond Arts Festival will feature over 90 curated designers, artists, and craftspeople with fine art, scupture, jewelry, and handmade crafts. There will also be nine live bands and food concessions!
BAM ArtsFair – July 28-30
Now in its 70th year, the Bellevue Arts Museum (BAM) ARTSfair will have over 300 inspiring artists to shop from with a variety ranging from modern, traditional, and emerging work. Located at the Bellevue Arts Museum and Bellevue Square, this 3-day event will also include BAM exhibitions, a KIDSfair, a Sound & Movement stage, food trucks, and lots more!
Seattle Art Fair – August 3-6
Now in its 3rd year, the Seattle Art Fair showcases the vibrant arts community of the Pacific Northwest. The fair “brings together the region’s strong collector base; local, national, and international galleries; area museums and institutions; and an array of innovative public programming”.
